If There Were a “Negative Stars” Option, I’d Use It. Working with Steel City Cabinets (and Shawn Yauch) was like a masterclass in how not to run a business. Enthusiastic promises up front, complete radio silence after the check cleared. Everything that was supposed to be “standard” turned out to be substandard — or nonexistent. I lost count of how many times I was told something would “get done soon.” Spoiler: it didn’t. If you enjoy frustration, broken promises, and watching your hard-earned money disappear with nothing to show for it — you’ve found your guy. Otherwise, do yourself a huge favor and stay far, far away.
